It is with great sadness that I had to make the decision to put Joker down on January 2, 2010.
Joker was from a long line of coondogs. There is not one dog out of his litter that did not make a winning coon dog.
Ive said for a long time that it's better to breed to the average dog out of an outstanding litter than it is to breed to an outstanding dog out of an average litter.
Joker is retired from the woods now. He truly is the cornerstone of our kennel
Joker's legacy as a coon dog, and as a reproducer of coon dogs will live for a good time to come. It is a shame that he was not bred more often or at a younger age. I still get daily calls wanting pups out of him. Joker's legacy is in his pups, most notably Cube who stands at stud in our kennel.
